"Raindrops"

Silence is here again
The silence is here again tonight
Will the love ever come back?
Will the love ever come back?
I know I?ve been pushing you away
I know it?s been going on for days
Those awkward little things
So endearing
Those awkward little things
Wear on me

See, what we got here is a tired love
What we got here is a lazy love
It mooches around the house
Can?t wait to go out
What it needs, it just grabs
It never asks
We sit and watch the divide widen
We sit and listen to our hearts crumble
With our only chance to jump
Neither of us had the guts
Maybe we?re just too proud
To say it out loud

Silence is here again tonight
Silence is here again tonight

aguardando brinquedos aguardando sangue aguardando

The Flu Season Act One- Scene 9

Epilogue: "(...) Go stretch. I need to relieve myself. We'll take a little break, an intermission. Please come back, and if you do, maybe you'll find that the cushion of your seat is cold and has given up the shape that you gave it, that there is no trace of you but your absence and a few gum wrappers. No trace. Imagine that. Hard to conceive. Almost impossible for us to conceive."

by Will Eno

A Rosa
"Florista: Compra-me uma rosa?
Eu prefiro a segunda modalidade.

Duas coisas, a princípio nada relacionadas,

Labradford - Mi media naranja (1997)

Song of Childhood
By Peter Handke (excerto final)

(...) When the child was a child,
Berries filled its hand as only berries do,
and do even now,
Fresh walnuts made its tongue raw,
and do even now,
it had, on every mountaintop,
the longing for a higher mountain yet,
and in every city,
the longing for an even greater city,
and that is still so,
It reached for cherries in topmost branches of trees
with an elation it still has today,
has a shyness in front of strangers,
and has that even now.
It awaited the first snow,
And waits that way even now.

When the child was a child,
It threw a stick like a lance against a tree,
And it quivers there still today.

Boat
This is my father's boat near our house in Myasnoye. He was greatly attached to that place, where he could isolate himself and work on his scripts - the first drafts of Stalker and The Sacrifice were written there. He used to take long walks and these pictures are the memories of those promenades.

Leave me dreaming on the bed
See you right back here tomorrow
For the next round
Keep this scene inside your head
As the bruises turn to yellow
The swelling goes down

And if you?re ever around
In the city or the suburbs
Of this town
Be sure to come around
I?ll be wallowing in sorrow
Wearing a frown
Like Pierrot the clown

Saw you crashing around the bay
Never seen you act so shallow
Or look so brown
Remember all the things you'd say
How your promises rang hollow
As you threw me to the ground

And if you?re ever around
In the backstreets or the alleys
Of this town
Be sure to come around
I?ll be wallowing in pity
Wearing a frown
Like Pierrot the clown (...)

Desmistificar a passagem do tempo:

"It is like looking at an old-fashioned watch. There is a spring that can be tightened, thus storing energy that can be released over time by allowing the spring gradually to unwind. The unwinding of the spring turns a cog-wheel that turns other cog-wheels causing the hands of the watch to move around its face in a measured fashion. When the spring has fully unwound, the system has no further energy to move any of its parts and the watch stops until some external agent winds the spring up again."

NELL: Nothing is funnier than unhappiness, I grant you that. But...
NAGG: Oh!
NELL: Yes, yes, it's the most comical thing in the world. And we laugh, we laugh, with a will, in the beginning. But it's always the same thing. Yes, it's like the funny story we have heard too often, we still find it funny, but we don't laugh any more.
Have you anything else to say to me?

The dead flag blues

the car's on fire and there's no driver at the wheel
and the sewers are all muddied with a thousand lonely suicides
and a dark wind blows
the government is corrupt
and we're on so many drugs
with the radio on and the curtains drawn

we're trapped in the belly of this horrible machine
and the machine is bleeding to death

the sun has fallen down
and the billboards are all leering
and the flags are all dead
at the top of their poles

it went something like this:

the buildings tumbled in on themselves
mothers clutching babies picked through the rubble
and pulled out their hair

the skyline was beautiful on fire
all twisted metal stretching upwards
everything washed in a thin orange haze

i said: "kiss me, you're beautiful -
these are truly the last days"
you grabbed my hand and we fell into it
like a daydream or a fever

we woke up one morning and fell a little further down -
for sure it's the valley of death
i open up my wallet
and it's full of blood

God Speed You! Black Emperor
